SCOTT CITY -- Clifford Eugene Ford Jr., 26, of Scott City died Monday, July 14, 1997, near Bozeman, Mont., from injuries received in a vehicle accident.
He was born July 2, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, son of Clifford Eugene and Bonnie Caudell Ford Sr.
Ford was a truck driver with Road Runner Trucking Services. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was formerly of Thebes, Ill.
Survivors include a son, Clifford Ford III of East Peoria, Ill.; father and stepmother, Clifford and Marie Ford of Thebes; mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Tom Sassman of Peoria, Ill.; a sister, Tracie Renshaw of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; a brother, Travis Ford of East Cape; his fiance, Terry Miller of Scott City; three stepbrothers, Chad and Mark Lohmann of Thebes, Tommy Sassman of Peoria; and two stepsisters, Jenny and Bianca Sassman of Peoria.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., from 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Billy Don Heady officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Thebes.
