Cleveland Mobley, 80, of Missouri Veterans Home, died there Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1994.
He was born Feb. 6, 1914, in Oran, son of Grover Cleveland and Katherine Menz Mobley.
He served in the U.S. Army from February 1941 to September 1945. He then worked at Ford Motor Co. in Detroit, Mich., until retiring.
Survivors include a brother, David Mobley of Randles; two sisters, Lora Smith of Cape Girardeau, and Thelma Pobst of Oran.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Winfred Wren officiating. Burial will be in Friends Hill Cemetery at Oran, with military graveside rites by Cape Girardeau VFW Post 3838.
