Cletus Heisserer

KELSO, Mo. -- Cletus L. Heisserer, 71, of Richmond Heights, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008.

He was born Feb. 2, 1936, at Kelso, son of August and Rosalia Glastetter Heisserer. He married the former Ernestine C. Klingler.

Heisserer served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1956.

He was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and its Men's Guild, and was an usher many years.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Vickie Dickey of Richmond Heights; a son, Michael Heisserer of St. Louis; two brothers, Bernard Heisserer of Kelso, Lawrence Heisserer of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Rita Eichhorn of Kelso; and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Luke the Evangelist Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
