LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Cleta L. Wilferth, 86, of Leopold died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Heartland Care and Rehab in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 1, 1924, in Dongola, Mo., daughter of Grover Cleveland and Lillie May Zimmerman Lambert. She and Fred Wilferth Sr. were married March 24, 1943. He passed away Aug. 23, 1983.
Cleta was a teacher. She was a member of Eastern Star 63 years, and a member of Whitewater Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Fred Wilferth II of Leopold; a grandson, Fred Wilferth III of Advance, Mo.; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
