Funeral for Cleta May Rayburn of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Rayburn, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Jan. 17, 1914, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Judas P. and Mary Angle Seabaugh. She and Franklin M. Rayburn were married Feb. 5, 1938, in Cape Girardeau. He died Nov. 30, 1974.
Rayburn worked at International Shoe Co. prior to her marriage. She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church, was active in PTA, Boy and Girls Scouts, and delivered Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include two sons, Frank and Richard Rayburn of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Doy Loper of St. Charles, Mo., Judy Harrison of Arnold, Mo., Betty Dean of Scott City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
