EAST PRAIRIE - Cleone Stinnett, 79, of Anniston, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Centerville, Tenn., daughter of William Wesley and Mattie Rivers Lynch.
She married Ernest Burton "E.B." Stinnett on Sept. 13, 1930. He died July 13, 1987.
She lived in Mississippi County since 1941. She was a memeber of the Bement Baptist Church near East Prairie.
Survivors include five sons, William Stinnett of House Springs, Mo., Earl Stinnett of Sikeston, Donald Stinnett, Robert Stinnett and David Stinnett, all of East Prairie; seven daughters, Joyce Hinchey of Festus, Mo., Eileen Burpo of Charleston, Onedia Boatwright of Arnold, Mo., Frances Sims of Ward, Ark., Sue Adank of Tallahasse, Fla., Wanda McDermott and Janie Bowles, both of Charleston, Mo.; two half-brothers, Guy Reece of Long Island, N.Y., John Reece of Maryland Heights, Mich.; a half-sister, Sally Henson of Warren, Mich.; 33 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie, with the Rev. John Terry of Murray, Ky., officiating and the Rev. Gordon Adank of Tallahasse, Fla., assisting.
Burial will follow in Armer Cemetery, near Bertrand, Mo.
