Cleo M. Leaming Long, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 1, 1915, in Forgan, Okla., daughter of Lester James and Myrtle Alice LeCrone Leaming. She and Vester "Dick" Long were married March 14, 1936, in Guyman, Okla. He preceded her in death May 31, 2003.
Long was of the Methodist faith. She was a former worthy matron in Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Darrell L. Long and daughter-in-law, Debbie, of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Donna L. Giles of Kankakee, Ill.; a brother, George Leaming of Bloom, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, five sisters, a grandchild and three sons-in-law.
Friends may call from 11 to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rice officiating.
Entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
