Cleo Deevers Linebarger, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, July 13, 2015, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Sept. 22, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, to William C. and Mamie Hett Deevers. She and Carl Lee Linebarger were married Dec. 15, 1946, in Detroit. He preceded her in death Sept. 23, 2008.
Cleo was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. She also was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in New Orleans. She was a graduate of Trinity Lutheran School, and Central High School in 1939. Cleo attended Southeast Missouri State University. She had been a bridal coordinator at Mason Blanch in New Orleans.
Survivors include two daughters, Jacquie (Sam) Stewart of New Orleans and Carla (Scott) Wening of California; a brother-in-law, Weldon Hager of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, Shannon (Allen) Caldwell of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kris Kipping of New Orleans, Brett (Anne) Harvey of California, Stephanie Stewart of Washington, D.C., Travis Padour and Haley Padour of California; and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Olivia Harvey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Mickey Armentrout; and a sister, Hilda Deevers.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Loren Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
