WHITEWATER -- Cleo B. Rhodes, 74, of Whitewater died Saturday, May 11, 1996, at her home.

She was born July 12, 1921, in the Drum community, daughter of John and Katie Mabrey Thiele. She married Harrison Rhodes on July 12, 1959, in St. Louis.

Rhodes was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband; a son, James Reeves of Greenville; a brother, Eugene Thiele of Allenville; a sister, Ruby Snider of Leopold; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ford & Sons, with the Rev. Wayne Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in the Methodist Cemetery in Whitewater.
