ANNA, Ill. -- Clayton Butler, 64, of Anna died Tuesday, July 28, 1998, at Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Feb. 1, 1934, in Dahlgren, son of Earl and Alma Malcolm Butler. He and Clara Nell Gollihur were married July 29, 1959, in Anna.
Butler was retired from Choate Mental Health Center. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tracy and Lee Butler of Anna; two daughters, Ann Hileman of Jonesboro, Mary Jane Bennett of Cobden; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Harner officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with military rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
