SIKESTON, Mo. -- Claudie Mae Williams, 65, of Sikeston died Thursday, June 6, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 16, 1936, in Grenada, Miss., daughter of Frank and Mary Mitchell Williamson Sr. She married Lester Williams Sr.
Williams was a member of Freewill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of Rockford, Ill.; four sons, Lester Jr., Chester and Mark Williams of Sikeston, Jimmy Williams of Belleville, Ill.; two daughters, Nadine Chamberlain of Winston-Salem, N.C., Teresa Williams of Sikeston; and her mother of Sikeston.
Also surviving are two brothers, Frank Jr. and Elijah Williamson of Sikeston; four sisters, Mary Parker, Essie Calvin and Bobbie McCain of Sikeston, Clara Barton of Oakland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lighthouse Outreach Ministry. The Rev. Victor Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from noon until service time.
