WYATT -- Claude F. Riley, 82, of Wyatt died Tuesday, June 4, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born July 15, 1908, in Arlington, Ken., the son of Franklin and Margaret O'Conner Riley. On July 29, 1927, he married Mary Dathel Williams, who survives of the home.
He lived in Mississippi County most of his life, where he farmed until his retirement in 1971. He was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston.
Other survivors include a son, Earl Riley of Charleston; a brother, Joe Riley of East Prairie; two sisters, Shirley Lashley of Florissant and Margaret Watkins of Cincinnati, Ohio; his step-mother, Mary Riley of Wyatt; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where a prayer service is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Funeral mass will be said at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Henry's Catholic Church. The Rev. Raymond Kunkel will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery near Charleston.
