SCOTT CITY -- Claude Emerald Drexler, 86, of rural Scott City died Sunday, April 6, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 29, 1910, in Fornfelt, son of Anthony and Edna Williams Drexler. He married Ada Elizabeth Hartle April 1, 1940, in Charleston. She died in February.
He was a self-employed plumber and a member of Broadway Methodist Church in Scott City.
Survivors include two sisters, Valma Cabbage and Ruth Komls, both of Oakland City, Ind.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Lightener Memorial Cemetery.
