CLAUD CATHEY JR.

DEXTER -- Claud B. Cathey Jr., 60, of Dexter died Monday, May 5, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 27, 1936, in Camden, Ark., son of Claud B. and Olga Savola Trude Cathey Sr. He and Jane Hoffman were married Sept. 13, 1974, in Crossett, Ark.

Cathey was a traffic coordinator at Georgia Pacific Corp. in Crossett. He has lived in Dexter since 1986.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Pam Overall, Paula Hindman and Patty Cathey, all of Dexter; a brother, David Cathey of Crossett; a sister, Dorothy Jones of Racine, W.Va.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vaughn Wright officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
