Clarice Ouita Harrelson McMullin, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1998, at the home of a daughter in High Ridge.
She was born Nov. 22, 1913, at Flat River, daughter of William T. and Rosa Lee Hugon Windle.
McMullin attended Mineral Area College, and received a master's degree from Southeast Missouri State University.
She taught school at Chaffee three years, and at May Greene School 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Retired Teachers Association, GFWC Tuesday Club, American Association of University Women, and Alpha Delta Kappa teachers sorority.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Myers of High Ridge, Rita "Holly" Hardwick of Easton, Conn.; a son, William Harrelson of San Francisco, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Entombment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
A memorial service will be held Sept. 12 at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
