ADVANCE -- Clarice A. Jones, 77, formerly of Advance, died Friday, April 26, 1996, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 29, 1919, at Bell City, daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Jewel V. Newcomer Winchester. She and Leslie Jones were married Dec. 25, 1934. He died Dec. 26, 1992.
Jones was a member of the Dongola Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Karren Osborne of Cape Girardeau and Kathryn Hartmann of Cadiz, Ky.; a brother, Edward Winchester of Haynes City, Fla.; a sister, Addie Lee Barks of Marble Hill; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.
Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Revs. Quinton Robins and Tim Nanney officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
