Clarence W. Valleroy, 90, of Perryville, Mo., died April 16, 2010, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 5, 1919, in Belgique, Mo., son of the late Edward and Louise Mary Villhard Valleroy. He and Mary Jane Albertson were married June 20, 1942. She preceded him in death Aug. 8, 1979. He and Gladys Mangels Erwin were married May 30, 1984. She preceded him in death May 3, 2006.
Mr. Valleroy was retired from International Shoe Co. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Perryville Country Club, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Judy and James Baylor of Jackson; one granddaughter, Susan (Bryan) Hartnagel; and two great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Brooke Hartnagel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; a daughter, Linda Valleroy; a granddaughter, Melissa Baylor; four brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Monday with Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be at noon Tuesday in Oak Forest Cemetery in Birch Tree, Mo.
Memorials to the Immanuel Lutheran School Debt Reduction Fund are preferred.
