CLARENCE PETERS

ADVANCE -- Clarence J. Peters, 72, of Advance died Sunday, July 18, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 26, 1926, at Oran, son of August and Mary C. Terbrock Peters. He and Margaret C. Vandeven were married Nov. 30, 1946.

Peters was a retired farmer, and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Glennon. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Raymond Peters of McClure, Ill.; and a sister, Jo Ann Stanley of Arlington, Texas.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Church, with the Rev. Frederick Lutz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
