MARBLE HILL -- Clarence William Hulvey, 70, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Granite City, Ill., son of James Franklin and Ruth Jane Landreth Hulvey. He and Glenda A. Barnhart were married Dec. 29, 1958, in Posey, Ill...

MARBLE HILL -- Clarence William Hulvey, 70, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Granite City, Ill., son of James Franklin and Ruth Jane Landreth Hulvey. He and Glenda A. Barnhart were married Dec. 29, 1958, in Posey, Ill.

Hulvey was a mechanic. He attended McGee Chapel Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, William, Timothy and Carl Hulvey, Carlton Preston and David Zobrist, all of Marble Hill, Terry Zobrist of Hamel, Ill.; three brothers, Charles and James Hulvey of Greenville, Ill., Jerry Hulvey of Roxana, Ill.; five sisters, Lois Kimberlin of San Antonio, Texas, Edna Brieman of Keyesport, Ill., Dorothy Powell of Grafton, Ill., Betty Sattcamp of Carlyle, Ill., Louise Louiznla of Centralia, Ill.; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Clinton Massa officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery.
