Clarence G. Gosnell, 83, of Missouri Veteran's Home, died Friday, Jan. 28, 1994, at the veteran's home.
He was born May 24, 1910, at Chaffee, son of Claude and Lucntia Stokes Gosnell.
Gosnell worked for Harris Motor Co. 15 years, then was self-employed as painter.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 3838 of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Spalding of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Raymond Gosnell, of Florida; three grandchildren; and, six great grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by a daughter and five sisters.
Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. David Pringle officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 3838.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
