VANDUSER -- Clarence E. Patterson, 82, of Vanduser, died Friday, June 3, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 19, 1912, in Lamar, Ark., son of Edward E. and Edith Daniels Patterson. He and Elsie A. Cowell were married Nov. 18, 1933, in Lamar.
Patterson was formerly of New Madrid and Bell City. He was a retired farmer and owned and operated a welding shop. He attended First Church of God here.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, James Patterson of Independence, Hollis Patterson of O'Fallon, Larry Patterson of Dexter; a brother, Raymond Patterson of New Madrid; two sisters, Maudie Cowell of Sikeston, Delawee Chambers of Marion Junction, Ala.; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Ricky Dunn and Mickey Vinson will officiate, with burial in Dudley Cemetery.
