Dunger, 72, died Wednesday, May 21, 1997, at the home of a son.

He was formerly of Scott City.

Survivors include his wife, Doris; a son, Mark Dunger of Taylor; two brothers, William Dunger of Springfield, Charles Dunger of St. Louis; three sisters, Ida Marie Dunger of Scott City, Shirley Schroeder and Dorothy Drury of St. Louis; and a grandson.
