WHITEWATER -- Clarence "Dick" Blumenberg, 85, of Whitewater, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. WHITEWATER -- Clarence "Dick" Blumenberg, 85, of Whitewater, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 20, 1907, near Whitewater, son of George and Mary Willa Blumenberg.

Blumenberg farmed in the area all his life, and was a lifelong member of Whitewater United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two nephews, Norman Blumenberg of Whitewater, Wilmer Blumenberg of Farmington; two nieces, Edna Followell of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Helen McKelvey of Rolla.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Burial will be in Whitewater United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
