Ste. Genevieve, Mo. -- Clareen Wallace Macklin, 74, of Ste. Genevieve was born Jan. 9, 1932, at Lowndes, Mo., the daughter of Harry and Ermine Davis Wallace and passed away Feb. 25, 2006, at the Advance Nursing Center.

Clareen was a homemaker and a Jehovah Witness.

Clareen and Finley Macklin were united in marriage on Feb. 10, 1975, at Ste. Genevieve, and he survives of the home.

Other survivors include one son, Timothy Shrum of St. Genevieve; one daughter, Janeen Bivens of Advance; three brothers, Wayne Wallace of Greenville, Mo., Richard Wallace of Advance and Larry Wallace of Brownwood, Mo.; three sisters, Lorene Durham of St. Charles, Mo., Shirley Phillips of High Ridge, Mo. and Pauline Anderson of Dexter; and four grandchildren, Ben, Katie and Brian Bivens and Nikki Shrum.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Maxine Little of Puxico.

Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Morgan Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Gegg officiating. Interment will be at McGee New Hope Cemetery in McGee, Mo.
