CLARA LAKENAN

PERRYVILLE -- Graveside service for Clara B. Lakenan of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Home Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Loesch will officiate.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lakenan, 99, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 28, 1898, in Perry County, daughter of John and Ida Sanders Hoff. She and James Meredith Lakenan Sr. were married May 7, 1922. He died Nov. 8, 1977.

Lakenan was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a sister, Ann Lund of St. George, Utah; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, an infant son, an infant daughter, three brothers, and two sisters.
