Funeral for Clara Anita Kiehne of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.

Kiehne, 105, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000, at the Lutheran Home

She was born Oct. 2, 1894, at Gordonville, Mo., daughter of Wilhelm Albert and Ida Kerstner Grossheider. She and William H. Kiehne were married Dec. 4, 1914, at Gordonville. He died Feb. 24, 1944.

Kiehne lived in Cape Girardeau County all her life except for 25 years in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, Mo. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Bill Kiehne of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Kathleen Sievers of Hillsboro, Ill., Eileen Kasten of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Viola Fisher of Perryville; a sister, Albertine Scherer of Walnut Creek, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
