BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Clara Keaton of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Baker will officiate, with burial in Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico.
Keaton, 90, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, at Puxico Nursing Center.
She was born Sept. 1, 1904, at Portageville, daughter of Jeff and Mae Collins. She and Robert A. Keaton were married in 1926. He died in 1932.
Keaton retired from nursing in 1965 and moved to Bloomfield. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter.
Survivors include a daughter, Clara Harmon of Puxico; a brother, Earl Collins of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Madge Holmes of St. Louis, Cathrine Schumacher and Stella Menz of Bokeelia, Fla.; eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
