CLARA HUBER

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clara E. Huber, 106, of Perryville died Monday, July 17, 2000, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born June 3, 1894, in Perry County in Missouri, daughter of Andrew and Barbara Huber Hoffman. She and Charles Huber were married Nov. 25, 1930, at Perryville. He died April 29, 1963.

Huber had been a cook at Perry County Memorial Hospital and Perry County Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include a son, Melvin Huber; a daughter, Barbara DuVall; a sister, Zita Lohman; a brother, Emmet Hoffman, all of Perryville; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a grandchild, six sisters, and two brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
