GORDONVILLE -- Clara Hoffmeister, 85, of Gordonville, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 26, 1908, at Jackson, daughter of Louis and Minnie Puchbauer Sievers. She and Albert Hoffmeister were married March 27, 1938, at Tilsit. He died Nov. 28, 1974...

GORDONVILLE -- Clara Hoffmeister, 85, of Gordonville, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 26, 1908, at Jackson, daughter of Louis and Minnie Puchbauer Sievers. She and Albert Hoffmeister were married March 27, 1938, at Tilsit. He died Nov. 28, 1974.

Hoffmeister was a member of St. James United Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Harold Hoffmeister of Gordonville.

She was preceded in death by six sisters and a brother.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Jeff Jackson will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery there.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
