JACKSON -- Funeral service for Miss Clara Grebe of Jackson will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Otto Steinhaus will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Miss Grebe, 91 years old, died Thursday, April 4, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 22, 1899, near Oak Ridge, daughter of Theodore and Minnie Marie Lowes Grebe Jr.
Miss Grebe moved her church membership to Oak Ridge Methodist in 1922 from Zion Methodist at Old Appleton, and to New McKendree United Methodist Church in 1958 when she moved to Jackson. She was a member of United Methodist Women and Susannah Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a sister, Vera Overbeck of Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Laura Grebe of Oak Ridge, Evelyn Grebe of Jackson; two nieces, Jane Bodenschatz of Jackson, Wanda Eickhoff of Raleigh, N.C.; two nephews, Lonnie Grebe of Oak Ridge, and Jerry Overbeck of Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
