ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Clara E. Hoffmann, 90, of Altenburg, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 26, 1994, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 11, 1904, at Frohna, Mo., daughter of Herman C. and Emma Poppitz Weber. She married Carl E. Hoffmann, Aug. 6, 1932...

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Clara E. Hoffmann, 90, of Altenburg, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 26, 1994, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 11, 1904, at Frohna, Mo., daughter of Herman C. and Emma Poppitz Weber.

She married Carl E. Hoffmann, Aug. 6, 1932.

Hoffmann was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carlene Lyons of Hillman, Mich., Carol Barnes of St. Louis; three brothers, Nathaniel Weber of Grand Island, Neb., Art Weber of Ovieda, Fla., George Weber of Frohna; two daughters, Goldie Ankley of Hot Springs, Ark., Irma Bowerman of Madison, Wis.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call form 5-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Willard Kassulke officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
