Clara Anita Daume of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 23, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born April 22, 1898, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Carl and Bertha Mehner Helwege. She and Louis A. Daume were married Oct. 29, 1922, at Gordonville. He died April 4, 1977.
Daume had lived in Cape Girardeau since 1908, and had been a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Adell Wagers of Lakewood, Colo., Marie Nelson of Bradenton, Fla., Lavana Lampe of Fresno, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and four sisters.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Steven MacDougall officiating.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
