CHRISTY RICE

SIKESTON -- Christy Renee Rice, 31, Sikeston Route 2, died Monday, March 3, 1997, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 25, 1965, in Terre Haute, Ind., daughter of Glen A. and Christine Wade Rice. She and Russell A. Rice were married June 10, 1989, in Blodgett.

Rice was a 1984 graduate of Kelly High School. She was a home school teacher, piano teacher, and Bible class teacher. She was a member of Blodgett Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; her parents of Blodgett; a brother, Walter Rice of the home; five sisters, Sue Sanders, Rita Vaught, Mary and Emily Rice of Blodgett, and Angela Mansel of Waynesboro, Miss.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Herbert Knight, Dan Richardson and Lloyd Boley officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
