MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Christopher "Chris" Lee Sanders, 22, of Morehouse died Friday, May 3, 2002, at his home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1979 in Charleston, Mo., son of Donald Sanders of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Vicky Ogden Stroud of Morehouse. He and Shelley Atchley were married June 23, 2001, in Lilbourn, Mo.
He was a cashier for Aldi Grocery Store in Sikeston, Mo. He was a 1998 graduate of Bloomfield High School and attended Miner Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife and parents; his stepmother, Joy Sanders of Dyersburg, Tenn.; his stepfather, Chester Stroud of Morehouse, Mo.; two brothers, Steven Sanders of Morehouse and Kyle Sanders of Dyersburg; one sister, Melissa Sanders of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, Charles and Linda Sanders of Bloomfield, Mo.; maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Robert and Wanda Ogden of Morley, Mo.; and maternal grandmother, Virginia Ogden of Sikeston.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel with Rev. Mitchell Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
