MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Christopher Michael Randen, 35, of Marble Hill, formerly of Festus, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born Dec. 25, 1976. His beloved parents are Paul and Janet Randen of Camdenton, Mo. He married Laura M. Sander on Oct. 9, 2010, in Camdenton. He described their love as what he had been waiting for his whole life...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Christopher Michael Randen, 35, of Marble Hill, formerly of Festus, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, from injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born Dec. 25, 1976. His beloved parents are Paul and Janet Randen of Camdenton, Mo. He married Laura M. Sander on Oct. 9, 2010, in Camdenton. He described their love as what he had been waiting for his whole life.

Survivors include his wife, Laura; his parents, Paul and Janet; a brother, Jonathan (Mary) Randen; a daughter, Hayley Randen; stepchildren, Landon and Brea Baker; and many friends and family.

He was a union electrician employed by Sachs.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

Chris was the funniest, most loving man. He loved to fish, ride his motorcycle and play practical jokes. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. He was taken too young and will be missed by so many. He was loved by a large amount of people and that love carried him until the end.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

A graveside service will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. Full military rites will be conducted by Missouri Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Hayley Randen College Fund at The Bank of Missouri, P.O. Box 740, Marble Hill, MO 63764.
