CAIRO, Ill. -- Christopher J. Hilt, 43, of Simpsonville, S.C., formerly of Murphysboro and Cairo, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville. There is no visitation. Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. March 9 at Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill., with the Rev. Johnny Posey officiating. Military honors will be offered by area veterans organizations and the U.S. Army...
