PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Christopher A. Gerding, 58, of Perryville died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at Estates of Perryville. He was born March 12, 1957, in St. Louis, the son of Albert L. and Ralphena V. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Christopher A. Gerding, 58, of Perryville died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at Estates of Perryville.
He was born March 12, 1957, in St. Louis, the son of Albert L. and Ralphena V. Doyle Gerding.
He was a member of the Lutheran faith. He had lived at Terrace Gardens for over 20 years, then "My Camp." He worked for over 20 years at Perry County Sheltered Workshop, now known as United Enterprises Inc. in Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; foster parents, Howard and Peggy Henderson; and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until time of service Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Fork Cemetery.
