ORAN, Mo. -- Christine Ann Miller-Kincaid, 50, of Oran died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, in a single-car accident on Scott County Road 413 near Oran. She was born June 29, 1952, in Topeka, Kan., daughter of Max Robert and Colleen L. Alsup Miller. She and Donald Kincaid were married Oct. 2, 1981, in Sikeston, Mo...

ORAN, Mo. -- Christine Ann Miller-Kincaid, 50, of Oran died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, in a single-car accident on Scott County Road 413 near Oran.

She was born June 29, 1952, in Topeka, Kan., daughter of Max Robert and Colleen L. Alsup Miller. She and Donald Kincaid were married Oct. 2, 1981, in Sikeston, Mo.

Miller-Kincaid received a bachelor of science degree in elementary/special education from Southeast Missouri State University. She received a master's degree in education from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C.

She was a social worker with the state of South Carolina, and after moving back to the area was a teacher at Scott County Central Schools. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include her husband; her parents of Sikeston; a brother, Robert Miller of Sikeston; and a sister, Elizabeth Michailoff of Camano Island, Wash.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Private burial will be at a later date in Bluff Cemetery at Idalia, Mo. The Rev. Rufus McLean will officiate.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Chaffee, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
