CHRISTINE HAMPTON

PARMA, Mo. -- Christine Hampton, 74, of Parma died Monday, March 26, 2001, at her home.

She was born Oct. 22, 1926, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of William Oscar and Estell Currin Creasy. She and Harvey Lee Hampton were married May 18, 1948, in Clay County, Ark. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Petty of Ellington, Mo., Marlene Stanley of Campbell, Mo., Emily Ethridge of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; a brother, Hobert Creasy of Winamac, Ind.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
