CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Christine M. Gibson, 81, of Wyatt, Mo., died Friday, March 22, 2002, at the Charleston Manor.
She was born Jan. 17, 1921, in Arkansas, daughter of William and Dora James.
She and Raymond Harold Gibson were married Aug. 10, 1946. He died Jan. 19, 1986.
She lived most of her life in Mississippi County, where she was employed by the Brown Shoe Company in Charleston a number of years. She was a member of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wyatt.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Gibson of Charleston and Eugene Gibson of Blytheville, Ark.; two sisters, Eathel Doolittle of Satsuma, Fla., and Hilda Guillion of Monroe Falls, Ohio; and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Leroy Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
