CHRISTINE CRICE

BELKNAP, Ill. -- Christine Crice, 89, of Belknap died Tuesday, May 27, 1997, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Metropolis.

She was born June 26, 1907, in Paragould, Ark., daughter of Andrew and Molly Tenant Burns. She married James H. Crice, who died in 1978.

Crice was a member of Belknap Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Leila Canada of Belknap; a son, Howard Crice Jr. of Jonesboro; a sister, Dorothy Woods of Elkhart, Ind.; a brother, John Burns of Sanford, Fla.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 6-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Masonic Cemetery in Belknap. The Rev. Billy Carter will officiate.
