CHRISTA W. NAVE

TAMMS, Ill. -- Christa W. Nave, 85, of Tamms, Ill., died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1993, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 2, 1907, at Equality, Ill., daughter of Isaac and Dee Helm White.

She was married to Vernel F. Nave. He died Sept. 10, 1990.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cairo, Ill.

Survivors include a son, Vernel Lynn Nave of Tamms, Ill.; and two sisters, Gladys Smith and Mildred Simpson, both of Eldorado, Ill.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., with the Rev. Kenneth Provines officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado, Ill.
