SCOTT CITY -- Chril Reynolds, 72, of Scott City died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Aug. 27, 1923, at Salcedo, daughter of Wesley Jordan and Effie Belle Hinkle. She and Lloyd Leslie "Slim" Reynolds were married March 24, 1945, at St. Louis. He died June 14, 1987.
She was self-employed as a home care companion.
Survivors are two sons, Bill McNew of Lubbock, Texas, and Joe McNew of Sikeston; three daughters, Janet Pierce of Sherman, Texas, Genevia Avery of Oran and Pat Bradley of Scott City; a stepdaughter, Norma Jean Simpson of Wappapello; two sisters, Lucille Alexander of New Madrid and Evelyn Howard of Sikeston; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
