Chloe McNeill, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 9, 1902, in Franklin County, Ill., daughter of William E. and Salina Mitchell McNeill.
McNeill graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a bachelor of science degree in education.
She taught 42 years in Southern Illinois public schools. She was a member of National Retired Teachers Association and Illinois Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include three nieces, Jean Mocaby of Thompsonville, Ill., Betty Brown of Carmi, Ill., Peggy Hamilton of Elkton, Minn.; two nephews, Burton McNeill of Columbia, and Denny McNeill of Dexter, Minn.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Cemetery at Murphysboro, Ill.
Friends may call Saturday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to service time.
