BERTRAND -- Funeral for Cheryl R. Brown of Bertrand will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Revs. Lee Fansler and Bob Herring will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Brown, 31, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Bertrand Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 25, 1967, at Sikeston, daughter of James C. and Betty Donaldson Brown.

Brown had lived at Bertrand 24 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother of Bertrand; two brothers, Roger Brown of Pontotoc, Miss., Mike Brown of Charleston; five sisters, Barbara Norman and Pansy Phillips of Charleston, Carla Skinner of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Ladona Chiofalo of Schenectady, N.Y., and Michelle Garrett of Fort Irwin, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.
