Chermon Jeanette Swan, 40, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at her home.
She was born Jan. 24, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, to Sherman and Syvilla Wade Swan.
Chermon was a 1993 graduate of Central High School. She was a home health care provider with Extra Hands Inc. She loved being with her family and friends.
Survivors include her parents of Jackson; a son, Christian Carter-Swan of Jackson; maternal grandmother, Mary Wade of Jackson; two sisters, Michalle (Greg) Nicholson of Clarksville, Tenn., and Lisa Swan of Memphis, Tenn.; two nephews, Swantez and Tyraus Jones of Clarksville; godchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and a special client, Richard.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with JoAnn McCauley officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
