Chase Montgomery, 25, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at his home. He was born May 14, 1984, in Cape Girardeau to Michael D. and DeRenda J. Gillam Montgomery. He attended Lynwood Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Michael and DeRenda Montgomery of Jackson; a brother, Blake (Haley) Montgomery of Columbia, Mo.; a niece, Emma Blake Montgomery of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Joyce Gillam of Caruthersville, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Molene Montgomery of Jonesboro, Ark.; and uncle, Mickey Gillam of Raymore, Mo.. ...

He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandfathers.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel.
