Charlotte Winder, 81, of Jackson died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 13, 1937, in Rockford, Illinois, to Albert and Mildred Barber Herbig. She and Charles Winder were married July 12, 1975, at Rockford. He preceded her in death Feb. 10, 2010.
She was an avid reader and loved watching "The Voice."
She was a member of Fruitland Community Church.
Survivors include her four sisters, Darlene Langley of Cape Girardeau, Linda Hastings of Machesney Park, Illinois, Carole (James) Ambruoso of Roscoe, Illinois, and Sandra (Joseph) Magdziarz of Rockford; a brother, Dean (Peggy) Herbig of Loves Park, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Peggy Niswonger of Advance, Missouri, and Corletta Winder of Holts Summit, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Paul (Joyce) Winder of Festus, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Daniel Winder; brother, Jack Herbig; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Parry officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of choice.
