ADVANCE, Mo. -- Funeral for Charlie J. Rendleman of Advance will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Rendleman, 74, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at St. Joseph West Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Feb. 2, 1926, son of Gabe and Georgia Goodman Rendleman. He and Sally Dougan were married Aug. 5, 1954, in Hernando, Miss.
Rendleman was a farmer. He was a member of Advance VFW and Advance Eagles Aerie.
He served with the U.S. Air Force in Germany during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Steven Rendleman of Farmington, Mo.; a daughter, Beckie Weber of O'Fallon, Mo.; a brother, Tom Rendleman of Bell City, Mo.; three sisters, Virginia Jenkins of Advance, Marcella Kinder and JoAnn Johnson of Painton, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
