BLODGETT -- Charlie R. Deason, 79, of Blodgett, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 9, 1913, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Walter David and Lela Victoria Riggs Deason. He and Willie Lee McDaniels were married Oct. 20, 1934, in Blytheville.

Deason was a retired farmer, and formerly worked at Sikeston Auction Co. and Charleston Auction Co. He was a member of Blodgett Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David Deason of West Chicago, Mike Deason of Blodgett; two brothers, Claude Deason of Sikeston, Walter Deason of Blodgett; two sisters, Doris Ingram of Manila, Ark., Ethel Franks of Blodgett, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Russell Rice will officiate, assisted by Lloyd Boley. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
